Pets Welcome

Situated on the south-facing side of the Trebarwith valley, with an uninterrupted view across farmland and sea to Trevose Head Lighthouse, Chylean is rural but not isolated being the last property in the hamlet of Penpethy, 2 miles from the sea, 2½ miles from Tintagel and 3½ miles from Camelford.

Our 3 cedar chalets are set in 2½ acres of Unspoilt Cornish Countryside with typical Cornish flora and fauna - so bring your binoculars!

Chylean is on the B3263 (Camelford through Tintagel to Boscastle road) and is next door to the "Pixie House" at Penpethy. (Trebarwith  Valley Road)

View of the Chalets from the Opposite side of the Valley
(Roll your mouse over the picture (it may be a bit slow to show you the labels).)

The larger chalet (Furze) is on the top terrace and takes 4 people. It has two bedrooms, one a double and one with a two-tier bunk for children. There is a steep path to the house level from the Car Park and then 33 steps up to this chalet.  Phew! but a great view!

The two small chalets (Willow and Maple) are on the first terrace of the steep hillside, 25ft above the Car Park and are reached by a short path with a 1:4 slope but not steps. They are intended for 2 adults but have a futon in the lounge that may be used as an extra bed.

All the chalets have a  cooker,  water heater, refrigerator, shower cubicle, flush  toilet, fan heater and colour television. Each has a futon in the lounge/kitchen. Only the larger chalet has a washing machine and drier.

Pets are welcome (accompanied by pet bed and furniture covers where applicable).
